Okay, I'm back (again). My old computer died and has been replaced with a new,
shiny one and now I can actually make updates again. <3 Also, the manga
version of Sensitive Pornograph fiiiiiinallyyyyyyyyyyyy came in to the
bookstore, so I'm quite pleased to finally own something besides the anime.
Also, Love Mode. I don't know why I never started reading it sooner. <3

joined after you did, so I'm not sure what the problem is. If you still have a

group's page, or a wallpaper contest. I'd like a layout more, because I can't
skin on here to save my life. :3

members list, and sorry that took so long. Anyone who has applied to join since
my last update has been added. If you haven't clicked the "join" link,
there's not much I can do. So please don't forget to do that!
I decided that, since school's out and I have some free time (and I'm sure other
people do too!) that it's about time we had a little contest.
So, here's the jist of it:
Submission categories will be for wallpapers, fanart, original art and
avatars/icons. To give everyone time to work on their pieces and submit, the due
date for submissions will be June 24, 2005. A month should be plenty of time for
everyone to create something if they wish to enter, right? There will be a limit
of three entries per category, just to make it fair. No one has to actually meet
that, but that will be the submission limit.
Please email all submissions to egnirys at gmail dot com (just remove the spaces
and set it up how it should be ^_^). Any questions you'd like to ask, please
send to that address as well. Just title the subject something I'll recognize so
I won't think it's spam and delete the message.
The only basic rules are that the submissions MUST BE yaoi-related. That
shouldn't be too hard, right? There's no rule about series, but please... keep
it reasonable. Characters featured should be of a reasonable age and use some
common sense, please. Suggestion is the best form of illustration, if you catch
my drift.
Size requirements:
Wallpapers: At least 1024x768. If you want to go bigger, that's your choice. I'd
like to be able to see the detail, that's why I ask for that size to be the
minimum.
Fanart & Original Art: Make it big enough to see the detail, that's all I
ask. Both black/white and color submissions are accepted.
Icons and Avatars: 100x100, please. I can host these files myself, so you can
just email them to me. ^_^
If there's anything I find unsuitable, I'll email you and tell you why. That
submission would not be counted towards your limit. Feel free to put your work
up on MT, it's easiest to host the files taht way. ^_^ I can't provide hosting
for everything, so this may be the easiest way to do things.
When submissions for the contest are closed, I'll post the entries and
instructions for voting. I can't really give actual prizes, it's not in my
budget. But all winners will receive a banner graphic for their MT userpage and
a featured spot for their work on the community userpage.

eq did the same to me too, I didn't know if I would like it cause at
the time that was the very first shounen-ai I had bought. I didn't know
if I would like it, but it pulled me in so that I quickly went and
ordered the rest of them. It is just a nice series, though short.
I would like to see another one for Golden Cain, I really liked that
one. Cain is definitely a cool character. The site I bought Only the
Ring Finger Knows, Golden Cain, and Skyscrapers also has Passion. I
will pick it up on my next shopping expierience.
OtRFK is really sweet at the end. I didn't expect it. I guess, ahhh, stalking

Most of these are oneshots. I guess no one thinks we'll want a more extended
story. There could be more left to Golden Cain. It seems like it dropped
off very suddenly in the end. At least there's another of Passion coming out.

I wasn't sure I would like EQ at first. But after reading the first volume, it
just sucks you in. I ended up buying the entire series. I don't do that very
often cos manga's expensive. But I loved it enough to want to read it again. I
think I'll read it again tonight.
It appears that Golden Cain is a one-shot, unfortunately. I wished it was more
than one book, but it doesn't look that way.
Passion is at least two, there's an advertisement in the back for the second
volume. ^_^ Central Park Media puts out very nice quality books, but they're
more expensive than average manga. I don't mind.
